GOD DOES NOT BUILD YOUR FUTURE - ICGC Pastor

Rev. Samuel Nyarko has informed Christians that God does not build their future for them. "God does not build your future, he gives instructions on how it must be built," he said.

Speaking during one of his Teaching Services on Tuesday, the Head Pastor of the ICGC Faith and Miracle Temple, Teshie Camp 2 Assembly, reiterated that, "You construct your own future; anything you become in this life is your making and not God's. If you don't build anything for the future, you won't have anything but be stuck at where you are."

He advised Christians to desist from the habit of waiting on God and pastors to build their future for them and rather take responsibility for their lives and work earnestly at their future. "Don't leave your future to what your Pastor tells you alone; study the Bible for yourself and apply what you learn." "What your pastor preaches to you is just an addition of what you learn. Read the Bible and other encouraging and useful books as well," he added. Rev. Nyarko further said that "Your responses to events of life is the number of scriptures you have invested in yourself for it is the scriptures you use to overcome the challenges of life."

Teaching on "How to Become a Healthy Christian", the renowned and influential ICGC Pastor established the following points and buttressed them with quotations from Genesis 32:10, Isaiah 54:17, 1 Kings 2:1-4 and many more.

The ICGC Faith & Miracle Temple, Teshie Camp 2 Assembly, holds Teaching Services and Prayer Meetings on Tuesday and Fridays respectively at 6:30 p.m. and the main Church Service on Sundays at 7 a.m. The Church can be followed on all social media platforms at icgcfmt.

Coronavirus: Government of Ghana to spend GHS 1 Billion on electricity reliefs

The government will spend a little over GHS 1 billion over the next three months on relief for electricity consumers amid the economic slowdown from the novel coronavirus pandemic. About 87 percent of the Ghanaian population on 4.8 million metres who have access to the national grid are in line to benefit from these reliefs, according to the Energy Minister, Peter Amewu. The government is fully absorbing electricity bills for lifeline consumers; persons who consume 0 to 50 kilowatt-hours per month. The other categories of consumers will enjoy a 50 percent discount within the same period. Addressing a press conference on Thursday morning, Mr. Amewu gave a breakdown of the reliefs with the Electricity of Ghana (ECG) accounting for most of the beneficiaries.
