The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Ledzokuku Constituency, Hon. Dr. Okoe Boye, has paid a visit to the ICGC Faith and Miracle Temple, Teshie Camp 2 Assembly, on Sunday, 23rd February, 2020.

Appreciation

Hon. Dr. Okoe Boye thanked God for the gift of life and also appreciated the Head Pastor of the church as well as the leadership of the church for the opportunity to speak to the church. He, also, appreciated the Akufo Addo government for the good work done so far. Referring to God, the MP said,"He who has started a good work will complete it. "

LEKMA Road

The MP addressed that the LEKMA road which is in progress would be completed soon. He pleaded with all to assist in anyway possible to help complete the road and to desist from any habit that would retrogress the road construction.

Mini Harbour

"There is a 20 million dollar project work on the mini harbour at Teshie and it would be completed in due time," the MP revealed.

Message for the church
"I don't have any message than to say 'Thank you God,' " the MP said, adding that "Let's come together and fix this nation together." He subsequently requested the church to pray for him.

The Head Pastor of the ICGC Faith & Miracle Temple, Teshie Camp 2 Assembly, Rev. Samuel Nyarko, has advised men not to marry women with ego. Coronavirus: Government of Ghana to spend GHS 1 Billion on electricity reliefs

The government will spend a little over GHS 1 billion over the next three months on relief for electricity consumers amid the economic slowdown from the novel coronavirus pandemic. About 87 percent of the Ghanaian population on 4.8 million metres who have access to the national grid are in line to benefit from these reliefs, according to the Energy Minister, Peter Amewu. The government is fully absorbing electricity bills for lifeline consumers; persons who consume 0 to 50 kilowatt-hours per month. The other categories of consumers will enjoy a 50 percent discount within the same period. Addressing a press conference on Thursday morning, Mr. Amewu gave a breakdown of the reliefs with the Electricity of Ghana (ECG) accounting for most of the beneficiaries.
