Banning social gatherings including religious and sporting events as well as political rallies did not deter many Christian bodies including the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) from fellowshiping.
Necessity they say is truly the mother of invention. Most Christian bodies due to the ban devised ways to engage their members by fellowshiping online and on tv and radio stations as well.
Preaching in an empty auditorium but aired online on social media platforms, the head Pastor of the ICGC Faith and Miracle Temple, Teshie Camp 2 Assembly, Rev. Samuel Nyarko, in his sermon urged Christians to live in the Bible and be saved. He said that living in the Bible is obeying the instructions of God and acting on it. He reiterated that it is believing and acting on the instructions of the Bible that will make Christians strong and overcome fear for "those who live in the Bible operate in faith and not in fears."
Touching on the current pandemic facing the world ( COVID-19), Rev. Nyarko assured Christians that through the grace of God, the disease would certainly vanish just like it appeared. He, therefore, encouraged Christians to desist from listening and watching news that would bring fear to their hearts adding that "Anytime fear grips you, look for a scripture to address that particular fear."
He further advised that, one must learn how to master fear to be successful in life for fear could hinder progress in life adding that Christians should "Learn how to talk to God about their fears" for "the best place to manage fear is through prayers. "
