Don't Put Your Trust In Human Beings - ICGC Pastor Cautions

The Head Pastor of the ICGC Faith and Miracle TempleRev. Samuel Nyarko , has advised people  not to trust  their fellow   human beings completely in order to avoid   disappointments.

Rev. Samuel Nyarko
Addressing the   congregation via an online service streamed live on the church's Facebook page, the renowned   Pastor said:  " If you want to   avoid disappointments  in  life, trust  human beings slowly. A   human being is a  human being and not a human made; he's also in the making."

He  continued that  even  church leaders should  also be trusted slowly. "  Every   human  being    is  a  work in progress. They may be Archbishops, Bishops,  Pastors,   whatever  their titles, they  are human beings  and  there   are limitations  with  them. Though they are people who have lived    in  such a way that their words  can be  taken, I suggest  to you that if you want to avoid  disappointments in  this  life  then  trust human    beings   slowly."

He, therefore, urged  people  to rather  turn to  God   in   order   not to be disappointed. "Believe  and trust in God  for a human being  but don't  make a human being  your  source   or your   all  because you might be  disappointed."

Rev. Nyarko reiterated that "though the world is full of disappointments...make sure your disappointments does not lead into discouragements and the freezing of your life. "

He added that there are many people who have frozen their lives and destinies and "have lost their joy in life due to disappointments in life" and advised that ,"though disappointments may come to us, we must know what to do with them. We must not allow our disappointments to  result in discouragements to a place where our life completely blankpose ."

" If you allow discouragements to rule your life... you will never be a happy person" he said, adding that "you won't be able to achieve great things in life."

"Delays may come in life but you should not be disappointed.  Others have been betrayed by their friends. They confined in somebody and the person revealed their secrets and are disappointed. ... You might have been cheated by your boss who didn't give you what you deserve and are disappointed or you might have lost a loved one and feels discouraged "..." but pick up the pieces from the disappointed and move on  for we live in a life full of trouble and trouble people.

Explaining what causes disappointments, Rev. Nyarko disclosed the reasons include but not limited to the following points:
1. Taking your eyes from  the promises of God
2. Putting your hope and trust in men
3. Setting ambitious goals
4. Living by your age instead of living by faith
5. Rejection from friends and loved ones
6. Betrayal and bitter memories
