The interview with Kidi was scheduled for 11 a.m. that day but Kidi reported at around 11:25 , almost half an hour of the stipulated time for the interview. This got the host, Nana Romeo, agitated hence, calling off the interview.
Romeo revealed that he made sure Kidi's management was contacted earlier that morning in order to avoid being late, since he has repeated the act before.
Nana Romeo further commented that Kidi is not above anybody and he can't belittle them, either.
He also added that:
“We always announce the time to the pubic but you don’t show up at the agreed time. That is not the case with other stations when you visit there.”
Kidi, however, apologised saying:
"First of all, apologies to the listeners.... if the interview won't come off, it's okay. I don't mean to disrespect or disappoint anybody. I just don't like the way I've been spoken to this morning but it's okay. I apologise for being late."
Nana Romeo, who disclosed that he planned for a beautiful interview reiterated that:"I don't want my show to be taken for granted. I cherish and honor my show. I have, therefore, canceled the interview with Kidi.
